That Movie Show: Avengers Age of Ultron

Hello everyone and welcome to That Movie Show, where we review the newest movies for you, and in case you haven’tfigured it out from the title or what I said at the beginning, ya dumb, no, but today I’m reviewing the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers Age Of Ultron (AHHH) Yeah I’m excited so its gonna take me a lot to control my Fanboying over this so Steffen calm down (AHHH) no, no no.

So this movie is the continuation of the first Avengers movie with all your favorite Marvel Super Heroes, minus the agents of Shield, Daredevil and Gaurdians of The Galaxy, but you know besides that everyone’s there… Continuing on in the MCU the movie has the team of Avengers still trying to wrap up the trouble caused by Hydra and Loki, and though the Avengers now seem to be a tight system, it is the actions of Tony Stark that may cause the team to fall apart when his artificial intelligence protection program goes awry and becomes Ultron, and things only continue to become worse for the team as new superhumans, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff are introduced or as other people call them Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, or if you need that simplified even more, that quick guy and that lady who does mind stuff, I can’t simplify it more than that, I’m sorry.  But on top of that one more superhuman, android thing is also introduced, Vision, or green, yellow, red guy who is part computer, thing.  How will the Avengers handle these new threats, and will the team stay strong, well, you’re just going to have to see the movie to find out, because this is a spoiler free showgod, just see it, its awesome.

And before we get into the pros and cons lets talk about the actors, we got my dream crush, I mean, McSteamy, I mean, RobertDowney Jr. playing Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth playing Thor, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlet Johansson as BlackWidow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Aaron-Tyler Johnson as Quiksilver, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet witch, Paul Bettany as Vision/JARVIS (Could that be more than just a coincidence hmmm) and finally James Spader as Ultron, and that’s not even the half of them but if we keep going then there’s not gonna be time toreview the movie , so review time.  I gotta say that this movie was amazing its got that Marvel Cinematic Universe continuity that just makes you tingle because its so amazing, witty comedy and amazing acting, I mean you could totally here the music between Tony and Bruce Banner, but also between Bruce and Black Widow. But that’s not to say that the other’s weren’t great, because they were drop dead amazing, it is beyond a doubt that they picked the right people, especially James Spader as Ultron, because not only did he give Ultron the creepiness and power that he needed, or she… it’s a computer, but also gave Ultron the perfect bit of comedy just to make Ultron seem twisted, like dang you twisted.  But in the end I’m going to give out 2 MVPs to the cast, the MVP to the returning cast has to go to Robert Downey Junior, I mean besides being a studmuffin he once again killed it as Tony Stark withbeyond impeccable acting, plus the snarchiness was great too, and the MVP tothe new cast member has to go to Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch. Now don’tget me wrong, the new cast did an amazing job, but it was Olsen who killed it, and the depth she gave to her character was again, AMAZING.

Some last notes, the new characters were all introduced great and it was amazing just to connect with them as fast as we did, plus the extra story they gave to Black Widow, Hulk, and Hawkeye was great, honestly I think they realized that Hawkeye wasn’t the most liked after the first Avengers movie, I mean there was no depth to his character he was just there, but they more than made up for that in this movie, so good job Marvel.

But now onto the bad, blasphemy, I know I know, but listen Marvel, I Love You, but there really wasn’t much wrong with the movie, no bias, I’m just being really nit-picky.  Though I love the increased backstory of Hawkeye, Black Widow and the Hulk, why was most of the backstory only focused on Hawkeye, I mean it felt like, ok well we got to fix this Hawkeye thing so we have to focus on that, but people like Black Widow…. Ah screw it, just worry about Hawkeye and put a tad of Black Widow in there, people will love her anyway, ok I do, but still I WANT MORE BLACK WIDOW. And plus is it just everyone’s power to defy physics I mean seriously, screw gravity. And finally it should be me besides Robert Downey Jr., I mean, Tony Stark, we should be theone’s in a beautiful relationship and defying the odds, no regrets to that statement. But besides that I still thought this was a beyond amazing movie, and just between you and me, they got that little bit of Thanos goodness in the end credit scene so stay for that, DO IT!!! Leading me to give Avengers Age Of Ultron 4.8 Ultrons out of 5. Plus in the comments down below please tell me what did you think about the movie, don’t forget to like and subscribe and we’ll see youguys next time.
